Cool, because Columbus really doesn't have a roster spot for Poehling. The purpose of moving Roslovic is to relieve some of the bottom six logjam.

I like Poehling a lot and think he deserves another chance with a better positioned bottom six, not the mess that hextall had.

How could Poehling benefit from a better bottom six with Pittsburgh?

I'd ideally like to see him utilized on the wing with the speed he has, not that center is bad. When he was on wing with Blueger at center and Archibald on the RW they were decently effective 4th line and much more effective than the third line. After that he had various line combos of centering Heinen and Granlund, Centering McGinn and Archibald, these are just bad line combos, McGinn, Archibald are both defensive forwards, Granlund is a pylon and better at feeding passes than scoring. There is some really great bottom six options this year in the FA market. Players like Kampf, Fast, Engvall, Donato. Imo if you make a line of something like Poehling/Kampf/Fast you'd have a really strong bottom six line in that.
