Additional Details:
LA still needs cap space for a goaltender and their team will be looking really dangerous. Yes it hurts to love Arvidson, but there is no real place for him in the top 6 IMO with Kempe, Byfield, Kaliyev, Fiala.

JAD, is another LA prospect who simply hasn't got a full time shot in the NHL and could produce well in a 3rd line role. He's a great skater, great on the forecheck, great energy player who has produced well in a limited role.

I like that enough for SJ, plenty of really good players left in the mid-teens and 2 years of Granlund and the pick might be worth the move up.
    NotDougWilson and Pensfan303 liked this.

he really wasn't he was just a 4th liner and we all know how much Sully loves young players, He went to Chicago proved himself and He's much better suited for a bottom 6 role than Nylander. He was never an issue when he was in Pittsburgh. He a better Josh Archibald

If Dubas wants to get rid of Granlund, it will be a trade like this.

I don't disagree. I'd do this as a Sharks fan.

Correction: Lafferty was an issue in Pittsburgh. He did not dig in scoring goals. Being a useless fourth line forward punched his ticket to Chicago. Has he improved with Chicago and Toronto? No.

I don't think he was, he was a good energy forcheck foward who played well in that role he was a depth foward/4th liner at the time. he was never an issue. He has got better since then and I would gladly welcome him back.

Ya I feel like it would benefit both squads at the end of the day. Pens get rid of Granlund who isn't a fit, free up 5 mil in the proscess while moving down 12 spots and adding a 3rd while the Sharks move up for cheap while adding a player who can hopefully bounce back and be fliped with rentention next deadline or 2 years from now.
I can see Dubas making this type of deal tmr unless he has plans to use Granlund in a bigger trade or flat out keep him on the squad

I’ve never understood Mylander for Lafferty. Leafs probably aren’t going to move him
