I don't think the Canucks make that trade.
EK doesn't fit their cores age and even with 2.5 his cap hit is likely to high for the team.

Nice idea but it’s a no. Not because of value but because of fit. Karlsson is not what Vancouver needs right now

Canucks are absolutely be taking this trade for Karlsson, but would need 4,500000 retained to clear the Cap. As good as Hronek and Garland are, its a no brainer

Canucks aren’t trading Hronek for Karlsson. Karlsson doesn’t fit their core at all.
