Detroit has zero interest in Daniel Vladar, We can get a better cheaper backup in free agency than paying assets for a short term backup.

I'm assuming the Flames will want to bring up wolf he's been the best goalie in the ahl for 2 years can't do anything else down there anymore. Vladar anywhere for anything.

Florida has lots of offense not much on the back end. Not many good defense man for that cheap.

Partially. it's mostly because Wolf has been the best AHL goalie for 2 years running and has basically forced the team to play him at the NHL level. The Flames do however, have the benefit of Wolf NOT having to clear waivers to move between the AHL and NHL. Since they're both based in Calgary, they should be able to take advantage of that and get him into some m NHL games without keep him on the NHL roster full time, and still get him playing plenty of games as the Wranglers starter

The Flames can't sign any offer-sheets that requires their 1st round pick as compensation for at least 3 years. Their 2024, 2025, and 2026 1st round picks are all part of conditional deals tied to Monahan and Tkachuk. until those are resolved, no offer sheets over $4,290,126 AAV.
