Look at the RFAs we have to sign...... Zegras, Terry, and Drysdale alone and we are above the cap floor, then we still have Dostal, 4C, and half a defense to sign.

Also, as a small market franchise, the 7.5 million in real salary is a major poison pill.

Assuming that Troy Terry and Trevor Zegras get signed to long-term deals, the AAV of those deals combined will be at least $13 million and thus we wouldn't be able to get UNDER the cap floor with a 23-man roster.
