why would philly trade a 40-50point defensemen for a c+ prospect that spent time in the echl last year?

Starting to think the canes may balk on the Tony D trade unless they let Pesce go, even then they may push for Bouchard or Karlson. I would be very surprised if Chatfield isn't in the lineup next season.

I hope they get more or that's a terrible trade, I think the probably could get at least 2nd rounder for him
