I'm completely fine with Soucy and Geekie but moving Myers to bring in Holl and Cole is not smart asset management. ROR will have stronger suitors too.

I'm good with this, Pearson is flippable at the deadline potentially with retention.

Won't surprise me. Maybe they are looking for deals to bring in players who will get dumped after moving Myers.

Two cap dumps require more then 1 2nd. that covers Myers but you need to add to dump pearson

I heard Pearson is having complication with his hand and his return for 23-24 season is unknown. if you trade for Pearson then SJ has to go all in on dumps to get into LTIR

Allvin said he expected Pearson for camp. I think that was a big reason for OELs buyout.

It cost NYI a 2nd to dump 5 mil.

It will cost a 2nd and 3rd minimum to dump over 9 mil. Of course Karlsson has to be gone for any of this to happen

For sure. Flat cap has made for some interesting decisions this week. I've had the pleasure of watching Myers do many Myers things but I will say he adds more than Bailey. Bailey is a slug and barely plays where at least Myers is never injured but expected to do too much of him in 20 mins a night lol

I'm fine with him for one more year, much more than paying a 2nd to sign guys that are hardly any better.
