He's a good backup goalie (trending downward). Hopefully he can rebound where he was 1-2 years ago.

a Jarry/Ned tandem doesn't sound all that bad to me if i'm being entirely honest. i imagine they put up decent regular season numbers, i'd just be concerned about the tandem going deep in the playoffs.

Probably. Or maybe DeSmith will battle with Alex for the backup position. It's not a bad idea to have 3 goalies which can play in NHL. Take a look at Vegas. They use 5 and won the cup with their 4th goalie, which is now their starting one, for now at least.

Generally speaking not a bad signing but this guy might be worse than Domingue so not something I see as a pertinent need. Dubas and his goalie reads are questionable.

Too much. Terrible offseason by Pittsburgh, overpaid for a lot of depth players.
