He had such an insane start to his NHL career. Came out of nowhere and had something like 7 points in his first 7 games, and looked like a monster. Then he settled into a full season of being Cody Ceci's partner and it was clear he was over his head. He's not an NHL player, but man was that a fun moment in Sens hockey

young and has some upside. with no tenure, its a safe deal. but to be quite frank, this seems more like an AHL signing than an NHL one. fair and fine deal with little risk and potential value in an injury situation.
