Not for that return, and you're not getting retention on Pesce. Start with Bouchard

That's already an overpay.
Pesce is good but he's nothing special.
Bouchard ain't getting moved.

It’s not an overpay and no retention is in there unless it’s a substantial overpay which this isn’t.

Canes just keep him then.

Then you are not getting Pesce. Pesce is a top 10 RHD in the league. Pay the price to get him, or get f**ked

Which is fine. If canes do move him, I would think that they would want some scoring coming back so this deal doesn't make much sense anyway.

Nobody is going to give 'top 10 RHD' value to Pesce in a trade. Oilers wouldn't trade Bouchard 1 for 1 for Pesce.

Then they're stuck in purgatory until he gets offer sheeted and they cannot match

Peasce isn’t a top 10 RD in the league, he is good defensively but don’t drive the play and has only got over 30 points once. No GM in league would swap a 23 year old Bouchard for Peasce.

First of all, you cannot even spell Pesce correctly, secondly, yes... he is. Pesce is not one of the best offensive defensemen, but he is among the best defensively. He's capable of driving play, and his defensive underlying numbers are among the best in the entire NHL. He's easily a top 10 RD. If you cannot even spell his name correctly, I kind of doubt your takes on this player

Carlson no, Seider is analytically awful, Doughty isn't anymore. So you named 7... well done

11) trouba
12) Anderson
Seider won the Calder and is clearly better and younger any team would choose him over Pesce
