They wouldn't even be able to sign Miller if they made this deal.

Yes they can. They do a 1year for what’s left and extend in November for a long term deal with the Goodrow money, future cap money.

All cap arguments set aside.. this is actually the best offer I’ve seen on here. One that I don’t know if I could turn down tbh.

If Miller is willing to sign for like 2.8M, then there wouldn't really be a need to trade Lafreniere (unless he fails to improve within the first quarter of the season).

Ya there’s no need. The package above is really good though. Definitely no need but that CGY 1st will likely be high, Josh fits the middle 6 role for 4 years. That 3rd is likely trade bait, and while I can’t give input on Sean he’s highly touted as a future stud in the nhl. Do I say yes, maybe. And that’s actually the only deal I’ve seen that I can say that about

I don't think the package is great but it could be beneficial (and maybe the Rangers end up with a high pick although, a lot will have to go their way for that to happen) but Anderson at 4M doesn't really provide them with much flexibility, especially if Miller signs a monster deal in January. I think they need at least thr ability to bridge Miller for 2-years to be worth it.

Drury just said yesterday he is not trading Laffy, so keep dreaming Hab fans.

Rangers GM. Drury denied our report (The Athletic) about the Rangers having gauged the trade market on Alexis Lafrenière, saying on Saturday afternoon that “there’s nothing further from the truth. I haven’t talked to one GM about Alexis. We hope he’s a Ranger for a long, long time.” So stop wasting your time making trade on Laffy. He's NOT getting traded.

Unfortunately, the truth and common sense won't stop the delusional trade and offer sheet posts.
