We head North West to the lands of Winnipeg and Calgary and find what we can pry from them.

I’m fairly certain the Stars are done and won’t move Marchment after just one year, but I can’t really think of another team in need of a player like Fabbro since Ottawa seems out. Wondering if Trotz is moving towards a Fabbro & Askarov for Debrincat move

Multiple insiders have reported that Stars are on the market for a D-man, but they don't have cap space, so they won't be signing one from the market. It'd have to be done via trade.

And by the same token, I don't know which forwards would be expendable for a trade, other than Marchment. I mean, maybe Faksa...but then Stars would lack a 4C of our own, especially after we lost Glendening to TB. Yes DAL signed Sam Steel, but he's not exactly a 4C type of player.

It is not unheard of a player signed to multiple year deal to be dealt after first year. Players such as Calvin De Haan and Evgeny Dadonov are good examples of that.

Interesting thought— gives NSH some more size in the top 9. Not sure I see them trading Fabbro right now though. I’d probably prefer to trade Fabbro for a younger player, but I don’t hate it.

I’d be interested in seeing a line of Marchment - Novak - Evangelista.
