I'm down for Gurianov (hopefully for less money) but have my doubts they add another dman at more that 1M (if they add anyone at all). Cmac expressed that they were high on Malinski, and I think he was being genuine. Between him, Johnson, and Hunt, I think they're probably comfortable with their depth.

Idk they can be high on Makinski for leverage reasons because we have seen how Bednar handles rookie color me less than bullish on Malinski or more accurately maybe they mean that he will be expected to be 1D in Loveland and the top call up because he is waiver exempt.

I get where you're coming from, but Bednar is gonna have to change a bit going forward. I'd he won't play their college free agents and high draft picks a bit more, it's gonna start to become a reputational liability for the FO. Doesn't mean Malinski is the guy on day one, but I think he'll get time. And with JJ on board, that gives them enough for 6D.
