The pollo truck that is bringing Hoffman to Chicago gets hit by a rival cartel gang and Hoffman is taken hostage. Walter White negotiates his release, but Hoffman ends up back in Montreal instead of Chicago, thus voiding the trade. And Kyle from Chicago has to smash his burner, so Walter White has no way to get in touch with him to get the deal going again.
