The issue with Robertson is his value to an acquiring team is super low.

I’d accept that if I’m Montreal cause I think they’d be picking between 8-15 with Nylander, but I think if he was willing to sign 9.5 x 8 he’d still be a Leaf.

Trade valuewise, MTL accepts. However, they aren’t giving him that contract. If he can’t go lower, MTL doesn’t trade for him at all

TBH, worse... Laughton and Anderson sewer it and don't help financially and Pesce is younger, worse defensively, better offensively Brodie... and now, you don't have any assets left to adjust

It's never a good thing that your 4rth liner's (the one that you paid a 1rst+ for) is making 3 mill

He's not going to Montreal and a Leafs Montreal trade is almost never happening I also took a moment to realize that...if they start with Kampf in the third slot and Holmberg in the 4th I would be very surprised.
