I think the Leafs would do Gibson for Samsonov, I think Anaheim would do it for the youth of Samsonov and a bit cheaper but it would be tough to see Sammy go....I think the Leafs would be comfortable with goalie depth to do the deal Woll is a secret weapon and even pettruzzeli could turn out pretty good.

No they wouldn’t. Its only around 4-5 mil cap hit but 8 mil in actual money. Not a chance Plattner is ok with shelling out 8 mil for a guy to sit on LTIR for a whole year or worse, just a healthy scratch.

It didn't look like the sharks even have a goalie may Leafs can retain his bonus salary or whatever it is and it's only for one year if he is cleared medical and a clean bill of health he's definitely good still even through all the problems with his injuries still battling but the Leafs can't afford the cap hit is all.

Gibson sure isn't waiving for the Leafs, When he already turned them down before.

It isn’t bonus salary its standard salary. Sharks have two goalies in the newly signed Blackwood and Kahkonen. There is no room for Murray sorry. Buy him out. As a player Murray has zero value. As a contract he is owed a ton of money that a small market team like SJ doesn’t want to pay. It makes him the 3rd most expensive shark after Karlsson and Hertl and he won’t even play. Makes literally zero sense for SJ to do this

I love Gibson, but the ducks would say yes and hang up right away if they got this offer. I’m a ducks fan.maybe add Murray as an added dump and evens it out for TOR.

I forgot they did those deals I don't know how I missed that scrolling through the team well everyone had Murray going to Chicago, then there's the buyout or ltir if he's not fully cleared so the options are and really there no way to afford his contract at this point literally zero chance.

Lol my favourite comment on my post ever, yeah Anaheim has money, they have a bright future in Terry zegras, great place to play and if they want to move on from Silverberg and Henrique they're contract expires in 2024 could give them cheaper deal to hang around, Samsonov is a good goalie and he's young if Anaheim keeps Gibson a healthy Murray could lighten the load if he's truly healthy. Ducks should really sign comtois as well. Cheers
