Pesce is gonna be looking for 7mil long term canes ain’t doing that but he also ain’t resigning with Toronto for 5.25

Commenting on the OP deal. In this situation the contract was announced 7/1 and the whole acgm is irrelevant.

Not enough for Pesce to begin with. And if that was all Pesce was asking for, the ink would be drying on the page the moment he was able to sign an extension.

The original poster (OP) said Pesce extends on a 5x5.25 deal as part of this trade. If that were the case, Pesce would’ve signed that in CAR, and it would have been announced on 7/1. Which would make his ACGM irrelevant because there wouldn’t be a trade.
