Incredibly stupid move Flip TT73 to Toronto for Willie along with Holtz and a pick. You could make the money work next year but the bottom 9 would be slim and Mercer would have to do a bridge deal

I'd be embarrassed if I got paid more than jack Hughes playing on this team guy is a all time great already clear #1 on this team nobody is close

Like I said it would be incredibly difficult but possible. If the cap goes up next year like they are predicting 87.5 Mercer would have to do a bridge and the year after would be supposedly 92 million so you could make it work. How do you think the TML are going to do it? They know that the cap is going to rise

I think Holtz is great and the Leafs should take this deal... But if you want to keep Toffoli and Holtz and just send Mercer + 1st, I'd be very happy with the haul as well

Lol, I appreciate the enthusiasm. Mercer is in that untouchable realm though. I'm a Devils fan but I'm a Big Nylander fan as well. You guys got to find a way to keep Willy

My order of letting go the core four (from gone quickest to last) is Marner, Nylander, Tavares Matthews TBH... meaning if Nylander does get traded, I would be upset but it's not the end of the world
