If he's not extended, I'd wager he's moved prior to this season starting while he still has a year left.

Can’t see why Willy would sign that deal with Canucks but not the leafs. He stated that he wants to stay; they’re negotiating - it’s only a big deal because it’s Toronto (no one worried about Aho or Toews). It’ll get done, he’s a Leaf.

Toews I’m basically positive will walk in FA. Will be too expensive for Colorado to keep him.

I’ll wait for actual signatures…Willy has said publicly he wants to stay (why wouldn’t he, he’s playing in the premier market in the league) and Leafs have said they want him to stay. There will be some negotiating- but because it’s the Leafs, drama ensues. Because it’s Carolina - noone basically cares.
