Sure having brothers together would be cool but I don't think he is a good target for the capitals at this time.

Additionally, do we really want to give up McM and AA for CAT with one year of dumping mantha?

i like the thought, but Ryan Strome is not it chief. And Ottawa says no pretty easily to that deal

Well, considering DeBrincat is an infinitely better player than McMichael or Alexeyev will ever be plus dumping $5.7 million is a big deal in a flat cap...yeah I think you should take this.

I'm not as fond of this offer as my colleague. Two years of a very expensive veteran on a contract that's 50% higher and two seasons shorter than Strome's (and under water to boot) doesn't fit our opening window of contention or our financial structure (Kuznetsov would be our most expensive player). If I were the Anaheim GM, I'd decline.
