Just curious as to why that trade wouldnt work? the one thing carolina needs is goal scoring. Nylander is better than Jarvis and defence is still good without pesce. Thoughts?

Jarvis is under team control for 7ish more years and will be considerably cheaper. He’s no doubt much worse than Nylander today, but he’s been really good for us and has already rounded out his 2 way game. He’s extremely important with his team and cost control as we’re going to have to pay some big extensions over next 2-3 years.

A year if Nylander isn’t worth Jarvis. Canes won’t give him the 10m he’s looking for. Adding pesce and Jarvis value wise is a killer deal for leafs and canes wouldn’t consider that.
