1) I don't think that's even close to getting Karlsson. Plus Schultz and Wennberg would also have to waive NTC if SJ is on their list.
2) I get that Seattle likely overachieved and doesn't have a legitimate star on the team but they went to Game 7 of 2nd round on depth and that's their identity. This breaks up that depth and chemistry I feel.
3) I could also be very very wrong.

Do agree with 2nd and 3rd points though. But imo if there's an opportunity to get better, it wouldn't make sense to not take it
