Tomas Jurco has signed a new contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Not a bad deal, although his numbers are pretty terrible in recent years.

I thought that said Turco. I miss Marty Turco.

Wish they had gotten him for two years at this. Hoping he pans out similar to Panik and another year st this AAV would have been wonderful. Even if he didnt pan out $800k is no risk.

Seems like another thrifty deal for Chicago, who can probably make a move at the deadline for a bigger name if they really need something... Real shame about Hossa though, always liked him as a player and person. Know what its like to have skin issues myself so wonder what the real story is about it. I know I had my arms become swollen red/lumps, really weird when had on my Jeff Friesen #39 Sharks jersey years ago taking a test to work for census bureau . Yet with all the pads on don't think the jersey really would have much contact with his skin. Must be like a sweating thing maybe where causes problems? Now I'll be thinking of Marty Turco because somebody had to say his name . Least its not Roman Turek that guy shafted me out of a few hundred in a fantasy keeper league .
