Toronto needs CAP room. To get it they dump Murray. DRW has CAP space. They put Murray on Waivers. He will go through and then they release him.

Even with Jake Muzzin's LTIR the Leafs are over 3 mil over the CAP. There aren't many teams with enough CAP room to take on Murray's contract. How do they get under the CAP?
Don't just say a 2nd
That's too much money to take on for a 2nd.

My question is if the leafs don't pay the extra 4th. Who has the CAP space that is willing to take him for just a 1st
Remember, The value of something is what you actually get for it. Not what we think it's worth.
