What is the point of this for the flyers? Like what is a 2026 7th going to do? We are full on D already and giving up one of our kids for a 29 year old

Ross doesn’t sign that he would take the one year he would get in arbitration and hit free agency his number is going to be close to $4M

Colton costs more and Stastny is no longer worth signing imo. He always had to rely on brain speed rather than foot speed and neither of those have gotten quicker. JP is injured until mid-season at least I think. The trade is fine from the Avs PoV but there's little incentive for the Flyers to do that.
