See when Connor gets hemmed in the zone he's counting on Connor to help him out, but Connor has his own responsibility to attend to so Connor is gonna need to step up and at least get the puck to neutral ice other wise its gonna be a long night for Connor

Agreed, however if you look at this play here you can see what's going through Connor's mind. He is drifting up the ice ever so slightly and if Connor can hit him with the stretch pass then Connor is off to races one on one with the goalie. And we all know that if you get Connor one on one with the goalie he's gonna be putting it on the scoreboard.

true but connor also has to cover for connor not being on the blue line and Connor also has to screen the goalie. Man does connor have a big defensive job he has to protect Connor from people scoreing.
But we all know that Connor is bad at sheidling so we get Connor to protect the crease and instead he hits so idk who will protect connor from the screens.

This off-season Connor worked on his defensive game a little bit I heard he worked with Connor in their hometown, however I'm not sure it helps put him over the edge to replace Connor in the lineup because Connor has that grit factor that teams are always looking for and he gets into those dirty areas and is not afraid to take a hit. However, if Connor is able to add that to part of his game its for sure he will move up the line up and replace Connor.
