Deal is awful for the habs. Armia is a cap dump, Dvorak has some (not a lot but some) value, Harris is a solid young D and a second. Thats more than enough to move Armia's contract

That’s a great deal for Chicago, the question is, are they actually going to try to be a semi functional team for once. If not then they probably take it, if so then it depends.

Sorry, the window has closed for sending your unwanted parts and pieces to Chicago. Before the draft when they were looking to move up was the time.

The plan was and remains to draft and develop. They need LHD least of all. In the pipeline:

Korchinski
Vlasic
Kaiser
Del Maestro
Allan
Phillips

All have good upside. Some will play this year.

Lol. That is an awful deal for CHI. So, you think CHI taking 2 overpaid declining players off MTL's hands, $9.25M in cap hits, a total of $22.25M in salary over the next two seasons, for a young LHD who isn't the least bit desirable and plays a position we have way too many of as it is and what is likely to be a LATE 2024 2nd round pick, is "a great deal"? Get out of here with that garbage.

Bro is just wanting to be upset, you could easily flip Harris. You could get a decent bit for him as he is a young defenceman who played well last year. I’m sure there’s someone that would take Dvorak for a pick, because he’s a third line guy on a decent team. That just leaves taking 3.4 million for a second. Normally that’s a little bit low but you’re getting assets for the other two guys.

If you were a GM, trying to disvalue the opponents assets it would make sense but because you’re a fan it makes no sense for you to bull**** the value of them down on purpose. Like the Harris thing is complete and utter garbage coming out of your mouth

haha. Sounds like you are the one who is upset. I'm perfectly fine telling you why I don't want your teams garbage, doesn't bother me at all. It'll cost way more than that to dump that much cap/salary, plain and simple. If there is some other team that values Harris more and/or is willing to pay for Dvorak, then go for it, but that team isn't CHI. I'm not "bull****ting their value on purpose". Dvorak and Armia are cap dumps if for no other reason than being overpaid, not to mention we don't have room for them on the roster. Also, I am only being matter of fact when I say that Harris is not the least bit desirable to CHI, who already have PLENTY of LHD as it is. CHI has also made it pretty clear that they value size on D. CHI isn't interested in "flipping" other teams players. Why don't you trade Harris for picks and then use those to pay for cap dumps... Cuz CHI isn't gonna do your work for you.

I agree that’s the type of upset you’re trying to be, for the sake of being upset.
