Even if LA was ready to move on from Byfield which I believe would be a mistake, they don't have the cap space to sign Swayman.

LA is not trading QB for Swayman.

There is plenty to work with to make a Sway trade work for both teams. QB will not be part of it.

No cap for Swayman, so the deal is kind of moot. Even if the Kings had enough to add him, keeping 3 goalies on the roster is not ideal, so one of Copley/Talbot goes back to BOS.
