Couldnt have said it better. Flyers aren't just giving up 2 huge pieces that are young enough to contribute when they're good in the same package without getting a Savoie level prospect and more back.

The thing that goes missing in translation is that the Flyers don't have to move these guys. Both want to be Flyers until they say otherwise, and they still fit our timeline.

Konecny is worth alot more than Jokiharju, a 2025 1st and a 2024 2nd. olofsson adds zero value, östlund and UPL is nowhere near enough for hart and you get seeler for free!?

Flyers are dealing from a position of strength and dont have to move either piece since both are happy to be here.

The only "cap dumps" the sabres have are the players they signed in free agency and skinner. So there are no dumps in this deal. The part that makes it ridiculous is that there are 9 pieces involved.

Sabres dont need hart any more than they need to move on from upl. Take heart and seeler right out to get the trade done ibstead making it so complicated to value.
