I probably wouldn’t throw Bedard out to 1C immediately, regardless of how good he will be.

Also, has Reichel played C at the NHL level?

Reichel has played C.. post deadline AA was playing C with Reichel on the wing and the two played well together.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the plan to start the year.

Who would be 1C if not Bedard?

Reichel played C in the AHL so I think they'll test him out there to start the year and move him to wing if he struggles. I think he'll end up on Bedard's wing at times as well to see if they have some chemistry.

I could see Tyler Johnson warming up the driver's seat for the first quarter of the season so Bedard gets comfortable. I like your idea of putting Perry up there to protect, but I'm not sure he has the stamina for that these days. Maybe alternate him and Foligno so no one messes with the young guy.

Not a huge Tyler Johnson fan, myself (that's why I put him on the 4th line). Looking at it again, I might put Foligno as 2C and bump Raddysh down to play with Kurashev and Guttman. That way we have someone to protect Reichel too.
