As much as I love Beauvillier, he and his family would love to see him in a Havs uniform.

Habs fan, and this is the first fair-value trade I've seen in a long time. I would accept. Galchenyuk will tear it up for you, I'm pretty sure of it.

Didn't know much about Sompel before, but a quick look seems like a risky but potentially good investment. Done deal.

hey i love the deal, but can u change the ideal so its possible for the habs to get ho-sang as well with the deal staying even.

Ho-sang is skilled but I question many many many of his off-ice issues. Well before he was With the Islanders and him picking 66(which I do not care about)
Look him up when he was in Jr. Many terrible Character references about him. great hockey talent but that is all. Personally, I don't want him in a place like Montreal.

I'd prefer for the Isles to keep Ho-Sang, in large part due to the Isles' lack of depth on RW, especially in our prospect system.

A player's trade value goes down when they're no longer under contract. If we were trading for Johnson with a definite term and cap hit, I'd agree that this isn't enough. However, this is just Johnson's RFA rights. A 1st and 2nd rounder is enough.
