The thought is probably that he played with Slavin when he was here a year ago. I wouldn't break up Slavin-Burns though. They were unreal last season, better than Slavin-TDA was the year before.

NSH declines. There is already a logjam, and especially at RD right now. NSH already has 4 RD's on books, with another on a 2-way deal ready for NHL time. I'd be open to Pesce in NSH, but it won't be for one of the most high potential C's on a team that doesn't have a lot of C depth. If anything NSH would offer Fabbro and a 1st and that would probably be the best NSH can do and that would only happen if Pesce signs an extension as part of the deal
