Hard pass. Mantha is 5 times better than Hoffman and Caps are losing a 2nd rounder. They don't do this.

Habs pass. Not paying a 2nd to have Mantha on the books for just under $8m with the retention. Hoffman is more productive.

Hoffman is terrible at all facets of the game except 1 timers. Mantha is well rounded and is about to pop this season finally having a coach that likes him.
