In a vacuum I’d rather have Boeser out of the two players, but Strome can be a very capable 3C with some talent on his wings. Shaves a bit of cap space as well.

It's a trade that's been pitched about a few times, we'd be interested in it well enough, as it's not totally clear how Strome fits in long term on the team.

The argument TK keep Strome is based on Leo and Mason's timelines. He's probably meant to be our 2C while Leo adapts at the wing.

Its not a bad idea. As much as I like Boeser Canucks need to unload a winger and are desperate for a center that can play up the line. Im not saying Strome is the second coming, but hes physical, can score and if played in a more limited role might last his contract. The key thing I'm concerned about right now is what happens if Miller or Pettersson gets hurt? Who plays second line center? Canucks also save a little bit of CAP on the deal. I'd prefer to move Beauvillier or Garland for him and a prospect if required, just in case Boeser has a bounce back year.
