I really like Murashov. I think he’s gonna surprise some people and can develop into a true 1G, with time of course. I like Blomqvist too don’t get me wrong but in terms of raw potential I think Murashov gets the edge.

I debated Ansons and Järventie a ton. I think in terms of being a better overall player I think Ansons takes it and can be a good bottom-6 forward. That being said I think Järventie’s offensive game can propel him into a middle-6 scoring winger. He still has a lot of work to do on his game, but again, talking raw potential, I think Järventie can develop into a beast. I think Ansons has a better chance of becoming an NHL player yes I think Järventie has a lower chance of becoming an NHLer but better chance of becoming a star if he does make the NHL.

Yager, Poulin, and Laatsch were the stars of the prospect development camp 3 v 3’s. I think you have him too low.
I think Pieniniemi is number 1. There’s a reason they signed him so early and I think he is one of the steals of the draft. He’s probably the most nhl ready if the defensemen.
I’d rate LD as Pieniniemi, Pickering, Laatsch, Kangas, Belliveau. They all had their good points of development camp. I’d probably swap Broz and Poulin too. However everything else looks pretty spot on imo.

Not gonna lie I don’t know too much on Laatsch so thanks for the info. I think Broz and Poulin can be flipped but in terms of potential I think Broz can become a legit middle-6 center while I think Poulin will stay as a bottom-6 forward. Pieniniemi and Pickering are both intriguing prospects and I think that both will develop into top-4 D. Thank you for the insight on Laatsch!

DANIEL LAATSCH [D, Wisconsin (NCAA)]
Laatsch made a terrific trio with Sam Poulin and Brayden Yager in the Pens’ 3v3 tournament. They put together several fantastic, high-level scoring opportunities off the rush from the defensive zone. Laatsch would nab the puck and feed it to the forwards or skate it through the neutral zone efficiently. His skill for his 6’5” height is tremendous. He’s not just a “big man” taking up space out there. And the natural way he fit with Poulin and Yager showed he has a high-quality skill set and is an unexpected find that could pay off for the Penguins. In the meantime, Laatsch will head back to Wisconsin for his third year of NCAA hockey this fall where it looks like he's been getting excellent preparation.

Yeah I think he’s taken a big jump since last offseason. But that’s his scouting report from development camp.
