Neither WSH or VAN would likely accept that deal IMO.

I'd rather keep Kuz, BUT if he has to go I'd love to get Garland. Love that dude. You can keep the other 2 players, Caps depth and AHL team are stacked so no room for them.

More cap. This ACGM has a separate Myers trade that gives VAN the necessary space, but on its own the cap space would be the biggest impediment to a Kuznetsov-for-Garland+ deal. In terms of value it's probably fair or skews slightly in favour of VAN. But they also could use more of a defensive 3C rather than an offensive guy.
