Garland is a better player but has the same term and makes 2.0 more than Joseph. No one would pick up both for free right now due to the cap crunch

I would pay something to upgrade Joseph to Garland while adding 2.0 AAV but Brannstrom + 2nd? No way in hell

Brannstrom is a rising 23 y/o 2-way D-man, he was the only one who outplayed his role last season (Sanderson would of if he wasn't stuck with Hamonic all year)

Not only he outplayed his role but he was an elite 3rd pairing D-man based on metrics

A solution would be to trade Brannstrom for a similar young winger.
