Certainly not for both Swayman and Freddy! I saw Scheifele for Ully, which I would certainly consider, but Ully might block that. Despite the Bruin's needs at C, I don't think Scheifele is a good fit for them, so the return if coming from the Bruins would need to reflect that.

It is a wild off-season to be a fan. A lot of things happened that no one was expecting. Hall, RyJo, etc were all unexpected, the O'Reilly signing, Klingberg to Toronto, etc.

Bruins really aren't cap constrained anymore. They have just shy of $5.5 million in cap space with only Frederic & Swayman to sign (which both combined should be less).

I disagree that they will sign for less combined. I'd be surprised if Freddy came in under 2.25 and Swayman came in under 3.5, and that is already over 5.5m. I'd love to be surprised.

They do have options though -- most of which either entail running with a 22 man roster with a contract buried or trading away an LD. They are not over a barrel by any means.

For me I see both doing 1yr deals. Freddy for $2 million & Swaynan for $3 million
