Can I understand everyone's hate with Brodie? He is our most stable/consistent defenceman and can play both sides. He is not going anywhere.

I have seen a few Leaf ACGM teams where they send Jarnkrok to Nashville for 2 low picks. Value of picks aside, Nashville would never want to do the trade. They have way too many kids coming up who need playing time. Even if the ask is 2 low picks, Trotz still wouldn't do it. Just because Nashville has cap, doesn't mean they need to use it.

Dude I have no clue. I've seen guys buy him out like here, and then I've had guys get fairly aggressive in defending him as a top player in the league. He's no all-star, but he's consistent on the back end and can provide offense in a pinch. No clue why you wouldn't want that on your team.
