Yea. There is a pick I included. There is more risk on the Devils side than LA so I added a pick. I really think LA maybe has a developmentally problem. I can't see why a kid who was widely considered to be a top 3 selection and almost no holes in his game could be this underwhelming.

Devils shouldn't do this, even if Holtz disappoints I think he's still a far better bet than Turcotte

not giving up on him. if we move willy he can sorta take over his role as a scoring RW right away on a third line w kampf. minten isnt NHL ready yet

For Turcotte? It's the injuries. His development has been totally destroyed, and even though I think "injury-prone" players are usually just unlucky, there's a chance he actually is made of glass like DiPietro or Nolan Patrick.

At the AHL level, Holtz is the better player by a country mile. At the NHL level, Turcotte has 0 points. I'd rather go for someone else, or a pick.

I really like Turcotte and think if Devils want to take “double-down in speed” approach, maybe he would be target for 3C. The skills very much match our system.

Maybe because he is injured all the time and came out of college one year too early.
