What the team could have been like if Benning got fired sooner.

Sure the offence would be crap, but the blueline if it was like this isn`t terrible as it is now. This team constructed here is better cap wise

Maybe the salary cap situation is more ideal, but the team isn't as good as it is now. Also, way to overpay Suter, he'd be signed by now if anyone was offering him that. People also need to stop acting like Dylan Guenther is a sure-fire top six forward, just because he was on the other end of a regrettable business decision and Canuck fans are conditioned to keep a careful eye on anything that seemingly slipped through the organizations fingers, but hasn't actually bore any fruit yet.

There wasn’t 1 VAN fan that wanted this trade to go through at the time. It’s was referred to as “scraps” by them. Most wanted Laf, Kakko, Schneider as the deal

Most ranger fans didnt want the trade either. Chytil flashed enough that we knew the second he left and got more ice time, he'd take off.

It doesn’t need to be Guenther and doesn’t really change the fact it was a bad trade

If Guenther is a bust, the trade won't look nearly as ugly, but of course that won't all of a sudden make it a GOOD trade
