wrong, you can't buyout a injured player, so Murray can save his own neck by requesting surgery for repair his broken body and collect his full pay check. See Mike Smith, he was healthy to finish the previous year than instead of a buyout or signing retirement papers, he goes to LTIR.

You'd have to get him to accept his career is over, elect to have a surgery (assuming a surgery can even fix what he has wrong) and then go on LTIR. Given how much talk there has been around the media, the league WILL investigate if he does go on LTIR.
