Not one player that was traded by the Leafs is a cap casualty to the Leafs. Admitting the the Oilers and maybe other don't have the cap.
Leafs have no issues with the salaries of their bottom enders, although Jarnkrok scored 20 goals at 2.1m so he might not be a bottom ender Like most teams at the cap, it's higher price players that aren't worth their value that is the problem.....for instance Nurse and Campbell.

If it's a trade that's sending a player with a cap hit out to accommodate the acqusition of another player but the player isn't a net negative (would then be a 'cap dump'), then it's a 'cap casualty'. A loss to the roster as a result of cap-related constraints- like what Foegle or Kulak would be if EDM traded them. The point remains that EDM is not the team that Leafs fans should be constantly sending Jarnkrok to. Find another team that has cap space.

If only the homepage linked to the team's full cap page where you could see they have 2 roster RFAs that are unsigned. If only...

... with Bouchard and McLeod still unsigned. They have no cap space.
