Description

Reasoning behind the wilson trade - Devils want to add a tough top 6 guy for there cup run. Both on last year terms and devils want to resign wilson to a 5x5 for there cup runs to come. Caps get tofolli for the year and second rounder. Sign tofolli next year instead of mantha.

Just keep Wilson then if you believe he'll be so great in 23-24. The Devils are satisfied with their guy.

I have no problem keeping Wilson, though I have no problem trading him either, but he'd get a guy like Nylander. Toffoli is good but Wilson brings more to the table and someone NJD desperately need.
