I would flip Foudy and Meyers. Foudy has spent most of his time in Loveland as a RW and projects better there.

If we bring in Caleb Jones, we sure as heck ain't playing Jack Johnson every night.

Don’t get it, time and time again, choosing to spend what’s left of our cap space on a #6 D upgrade when the glaring hole is at 3RW.

Great, we’ve spent what’s left of our cap to sign Jones and bump J Johnson to #7D. Meanwhile we have THREE potential red flags in our top 9F. Drouin could flop, RyJo could be washed and Foudy/Kovalenko at 3RW could fail.

No matter though, we upgraded on Jack Johnson….. Forward guys, we need another forward signing

I think until TDL they cycle through meyers, foudy, olofsson to see if anything sticks in the bottom 6. Especially at 3RW. Knowing kovalenko will likely take that spot.

I bet they don’t sign anyone else and use the space in waiver claims/value trades if they use it at all before TDL.

I’d rather roll with the guy I know (Johnson) and sign a 3RW versus upgrading Johnson and rolling the dice with an unknown (Foudy, Kovalenko, Oloffsson) at 3RW

I'm torn on this one. I can't find fault in your logic but for some reason I'm not willing to watch JJ/Hunt rotate through things. I also think that we're at the point in our "window" where we are going to need to have at least one other young guy besides Meyers step up this year. We shall see what they do. I could also see it happening where we add neither position and keep the cap flexibility for the year.
