I don't think Pens will retain that much on Petry and send a second round pick

Pass, no reliable goalie replacement, no 1sts no prospects

But just so u guys know, there’s ABSOLUTELY zero chance the Sabres are interested in Petry
His contract sucks, even with retention
And RD3 just isn’t a position where we are looking to spend a significant amount of Cap Space
Plus, he’s not really the style defenseman we’d be looking for- IF- we were gonna bring another guys in
We’d also be looking for a higher quality guy,
and actually, more likely a LH guy for the 3rd pair

Even if we shipped out Lyubushkin,
we still have Erik Johnson (who we just signed) & Jokiharju (who Mgmt STILL likes, even if some fans here have gotten sick of him)

Pens fans,
PLEASE STOP with the Petry to Buffalo nonsense
It makes ZERO sense for us
Just not gonna happen
