they're still in the early stages of a long and arduous total rebuild. Terry will likely be in the final 2-3 years of this contract by the time the Ducks are a playoff team.
I’m not so sure of that. I don’t by any means think that they’re going to be the next New Jersey Devils, but they already have some good young players and some high draft picks who could have high ceilings. I feel like they’re a year or two ahead of some of the other rebuilding teams. I know they finished last in the league standings, but I figure that’s because they don’t have much going for them other than those young players.
