<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>Most canadian teams</div></div>
This made me laugh.
To be fair, I did include 3 Canadian teams, only 1 American team, and the 'Other' option.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Tintin</b></div><div>2+ years of being active on the forums having gone trough countless Josh Anderson to the Devils for an exorbitant return (Nemec, second overall, multiple 1sts, Bratt, Holtz etc), which Habs fans vehemently defend, I got give this one to the Montreal Canadiens. You’re all (mostly) nuts.</div></div>
I like Josh Anderson, but not at what he currently makes $ wise. NJ has no interest in giving up Nemec, at all, in any trade. Bratt is a BIG part of that group too.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyScotty</b></div><div>I would say that all of the teams listed would be vying for runner-up to the Vancouver Canucks in this category.
Leafs and Canadiens are up there but the Canucks fans seem to have a higher % of delusionals than most. For the American teams, I personally think the Blues fans are in the mix but that is probably reverse-homerism being an Avs fan.</div></div>
Respect.
I definitely could have included the Vancouver Canucks.

Not trying to throw ALL of these fans together in a group, but in general. There are some quality fans in every fanbase. But, some of these homers representing their team, make you want to cheer for another team.
I don't know why cheering for a team and logic can't be meshed together, but if you notice, in some cases it can't.
I grew up a Leafs fan, so I know how out to lunch a lot of Toronto fans can be.
Which of these fanbases are out in space and in need of a reality check the most?
If there is a team I have missed that YOU want to list, feel free to post it.

I guess an $8.5 million AAV can make even Winnipeg desirable.
Let's see if they win anything.

Why is Kevin Cheveldayoff still a GM in this league?
RHF,
If you think I'm a 'Kid' why do you keep trying so hard to interact with me?
Didn't you create your CapFriendly account, just to respond to me, like you said on my other thread.
You are the definition of stranger danger.

I can admit when I was wrong. I for sure thought that both Scheifele and Hellebuyck would leave Winnipeg.
Now, let's see if they can prove me wrong again and win something.

RHF,
Do you really think I'm a kid?
What am I yelling about?
I thought I was proposing a legitimate question in the Winnipeg Jets section or is it only reserved for a guy named <a href="/users/JohnSmith" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@JohnSmith</a> ?
The only thing you're right about is I don't like Cheveldayoff. But, you changed my mind. You deserve him.
If your only goal in Winnipeg is to exist, well done.
I ignored you a long time ago, I know you want to be friends, but it's not going to work out. My mom told me, when I was a KID, to not get into cars with strangers and you're a stranger.
You don't need to respond to me, like you always do. I'll give you one thing, you're an entertaining homer, with your ridiculous takes.
We all know you're biased towards Winnipeg, everyone can see it.

The 'magic' of Kevin Cheveldayoff, you're too funny, RHF.
Honestly, it kind of does feel like a match made in heaven.
Maybe you guys should keep him.
I take everything back, this is a perfect fit in Winnipeg.
Considering I have only come across one 'normal' Jets fan on this site. What was his name again.... Rooney, or something along those lines. Jets' fans are deserving of his 'magic'.
Hit me up in another 10 years.

CF Prenium?
No.
Take that $ and invest in Apple + or Disney + streaming for the year. Disney + is the best streaming platform I have ever seen.
Or take that money and try and pull a Connor Bedard Young Gun rookie card.
Or use that money for a night out on the town, with your dudes or girls. Even if you don't remember the night, it was probably worth it.
Just a few ideas.

Who will win a Stanley Cup first?
All 3 are former 1st overall picks.
All 3 should have a lot of hockey left in their careers.
All 3 are currently Stanley Cup skunked. Winning isn't guaranteed.
Only one team can win every year.
Which of these 3 reaches the ultimate goal of being named Stanley Cup Champion before their other two peers?

Anaheim Ducks signed Trevor Zegras (3 Years / $5,750,000 AAV)
Trevor Zegras will be restricted after this deal finishes.
Maybe an 8 year extension follows.
I would find it hard to believe he wouldn't want to be in Anaheim, with a team that has already assembled the likes of:
Troy Terry
Mason McTavish
Leo Carlsson
Jamie Drysdale
Pavel Mintyukov
Tristan Luneau
Olen Zellweger
Nathan Gaucher
There are too many TOP prospects and solid, quality players on this team and in this system for them to not be a force soon.

How many times has Winnipeg won a cup?
I mean, I can't speak for Winnipeg Jets fans, but the end goal is to win.
If GM's "want to avoid the hard decisions, you probably shouldn't have these jobs". - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager, and Stanley Cup Champion, Kelly McCrimmon.
Maybe the Jets and their fans could look at this from a fresh perspective of, we can do better than this. Or maybe they are happy and satisfied with the status quo.

Lassi Thomson
I was surprised when Ty Smith (drafted 17th overall in 2018) passed through waivers, and I would have been surprised if Lassi Thomson (drafted 19th overall in 2019) did as well.
Now, I'm not suggesting either of these two will turn into a Gustav Forsling waiver wire type addition. But, I do think, in both of their cases, with the right team environment and if they are paired with the right D, that both of these two can be serviceable NHL D.

Minnesota Wild signed Mats Zuccarello (2 Years / $4,125,000 AAV)
I like it.
He was unrestricted.
Minnesota signed him to less an AAV then he is currently making, which was expected.
He can play 1st or 2nd line, and at this # going forward you can slot him on the 3rd line if you need/want to.
He has already shown that he has chemistry with this group.
This essentially ensures he most likely retires with the Wild.

Yet another Zegras suggestion
<a href="/users/Coachchippy" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@Coachchippy</a> really wants to see Zegras in NY.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rags21</b></div><div>Why do NYR fans want Zegras? Mika is wayyyyyyy better</div></div>
It might have something to do with the NYR being Zegras' team growing up, and the fact that he's a really good player.
While I do think this is an interesting offer, I'm not sure either team wants to make this deal.
