Yeah sadly this wont be enough to land Lindholm even though he already told the Flames he wont sign in Calgary again. That being said, it will likely be a matter of what is the best offer they get vs lose him for nothing.

Lindholm did not say he won't resign in Calgary! He has a contract offer on the table but is waiting to see what happens with the team before deciding if he'll accept it or not.

Sorry, you are correct. I miss read an article that was talking about what's happening with the Jets and Flames (Hanafin not wanting to sign, Helley etc.) He did not say that you are correct. It is league and pundit speculation that he is leaning towards not resigning (Frank Seravilli and many other folks) and Elias so called statements is that he is waiting to see what the Flames do. That being said, it looks rather ominous for his tenure with the Flames.
