Leafs don't really need him, maybe a 5th or a 6th for RD depth but not two picks

True, I like the balance it gives Leafs though with smaller/more offensive Liljegren/Timmins possibly on that 3rd pair and Giordano as the quality 7th/8th. Hes probably worth a good 4th from somebody, so I thought 2 future late-in-the-round 5ths was about right.

Fair enough but I just can't see the leafs justifying two picks, they've traded enough over the last 3 drafts that our number of prospects are declining

Not much cap room to bring in Seeler.

Depends on what other move they make....It comes down to whether giordano has enough left in the tank to be the 3rd pairing LD or whether timmins can be a solid 7th dman, moving under the cap (I think theyre still 1.3 over the cap at only 19 skaters), but LD/RD Seeler at 775k is a solid 3rd pair guy and worth 2 future 5ths or a 5th and 6th.

I won't argue the value of Seeler, don't know much about him so I'll take you at your word.

I think there is enough guys in house they can find to fill the 6/7D spot without having to give up anything.

Not sure what CBJ’s motivation is here. We need to clear out players, and Wade…is basically just a Bemstrom replacement?

I always love ur posts cause it’s like last moves then you make like 7 trades when in reality there’s probably going to only be like 1 more move if that so it always gives me a good laugh but I like the trades, don’t like the Dumba signing at all tho

No thanks, paying as much to move Joseph as Murray and Zaitsev much bigger dumps doesn’t make any sense

Joseph could be a cap casualty right now but he might not be even overpaid as soon as next season if he just bounces back to his 2021-22 level.

Joseph has a better ESP production rate than Kubalik in the last 2 seasons. It makes much more sense to trade Kubalik for a pick. Sens don’t need more offensive players who need PP time which will be already very hard to share
